# (HASH TAG) IT! NKANDLA

NKANDLA DEBACLE

Hahahaha...killer laugh
http://goo.gl/j3KGAF

initially ever since this Nkandla scandal became viral and our president was “busted” for embezzlement of the country’s money as investigated by her “majesty” Thuli Madonsela, I reckon in my capability of using the term busted, the presidents biggest rival JuliusMalema  would certainly find it appropriate and a best way to describe the corruption of the president.
public protector Thuli Madonsela investigated that the president and his family had benefited unjustly by using the states money to upgrade his Nkandla home, a report was issued  to the president  by the public protector stating precisely what she had investigated, and the corruption in the issue.

SCANDAL BEHIND THE NKANDLA UPGRADE

firstly I would not find a reason to be in conflict with the public protectors investigation about the overspending of the presidents upgrades, including unnecessary stuff such as the amphitheater, swimming pool and other mentioned paraphernalia, secondly I will not find a reason to side with the president and of cause not to also agree with other political parties, ungovernable behavior and the countries frustration. One thing we should know is that,Within our leaders there is so much to fight for so much that destroys their leadership and puts our country in jeopardy, there is so much corruption to satisfy their hunger of greediness hence they fight among each other hence when the president advanced  his house, there was no appropriate and respectful way of dealing with the situation, people found a reason to disrespect and try satisfy their wrong thoughts  that our president is a leader who lacks the ability to lead the country only because he is a polygamist and uneducated  man who could lead the educated. His upgrades bought about further unnecessary allegations, aroused debates among people and allegation of his poor leadership thus in my perception this is a man who by all means tried his best to alleviate our lives as south Africans in terms of education, business, job opportunities and many more, this is the very man who also took the states money whereby he could have focused on electricity people with no homes, people with no sanitation.

I therefore firmly believe that his upgrades was the greatest source of defeat. in my very own opinion this matter could have been dealt with in a very appropriate manner  rather than insults being thrown at the president. Making the president a really bad person whilst we could have dealt with the issue of him paying the money, than allowing parties like Julius Malema causing conundrums.

    1. The issue that is here is about the connstitution of the country that give s the chapter 9 institution the mandate to investigate and make recommendation about isses that need to be invistigated, including the Nkandla gate issue. The recommendations of the public protector need not to be undermined by those who are in power and they need to implement them.Mind if we whre to undermine the IEC or Auditor General,in this issue is not the matter of disrepecting the President but it the matter of defending the constitution and all the constitutional structures.

    2. the point im trying to put across is the fact that we should allow the matter to be handled by the public protector and others involved in solving the matter rather than us and other political parties take matters into our own hands and chanting bring back the money. all that cause is humiliation and gives our country a bad name and leaves us being regarded as a country that lacks leadership whilst its other political parties causing humiliation and behaving in a barbaric manner . so it the matter of respect and dealing with the matter accordingly because if we address things in a manner that we want get answers and expose others does nothing but makes one seem like a fool.

  2. The Nkandla debacle represents a microcosm representative of a leadership which is unable to live up to the promise of democracy, of a collective sense of accountability and pursuing personal at the expense of state resource. The blogger has put across points that leave asking and that should be the function of media.

    1. firstly i would not say its the matter of not living up to the promise of the democracy, because the ANC has tried by all means to meet to our demands especially in the time of Jacob Zuma, as south Africans we should not solely depend on the president to fulfill our needs but we should be independent south Africans and rather just seek support and better leadership, if you look at the stats of how far we have been as south Africans you would see that certain promises have been fulfilled. the president taking the money of the states for his own personal use should not be the only matter that makes us make allegations that their promises are not being fulfilled. we should always know that the president is taking after president Thabo Mbeki and his flaws, so by all means he tries to alleviate our lives.

  3. Some of the South Africans including other political parties however have no manner of approach or how to address people, the president to exact. Calling a president a broken man? It was uncalled for. We are to never undermine the one person who is responsible for us.

  4. i wouldn't have said it any better. the only way to handle mess is be to be cool calm and collected but seems we lack that ability as south Africans.

  5. we all know, never-mind anything zuma is in the wrong! if you do not answer the questions it simply say he is not willing to participate or corporate therefore we as the public will have that void and will fill it up with a lot of negativity. the president must just answer the public when will he bring back the money.

    1. the matter of answering the public is not a problem like i have mentioned the matter is being handled, you cannot want to seek answers, in a manner that is not regarded as appropriate there is a reason why Jacob Zuma is the president he does things accordingly meaning when you seek answers randomly and forcefully he will not react. the president will answer us by simply addressing us that is what we should wait for.

Sabe, my view is that the Nkandla issue has become the matter of political theatricals, and it has made this national pressing matter laughable especial in our traditionally respected Parliament. The kindergarten behavior that is fueled by the notorious political stunts or publicity of some of the opposition politicians is utter unpalatable to politically matured mind.It is my view that this issue should be approached and handled in a heightened intellectual manner than the comedic proclivity that is viewed in our national TV. It is therefore, of the utmost importance that this matter must be laid to rest by all parties concerned, particularly the ANC should see expedient in addressing the issue in the manner that satisfies South African public.

Apologetic tendencies will not help us to remedy the situation, since the president had undermine the recommendation from constitutional structure and shifted matter to structure which is formed through by parliament statute to handle the matter. By my knowledge and I stand to be corrected if I am wrong, that the chapter 9 institution like Auditor General, Human Rights Commission, Independent Electoral Commission and as well as Public Protector are constitutional structures, they are not formed by statutes and even the president knows that, but he shifted the issue to lower structure which is not even empowered by constitution, hence some sober opposition parties decided not to participate or even to recognize that structure, but they demanded the president to implement the recommendation of public protector to pay back the money.
