How old are you now? What a celebration I have to say, well the
ANC is well known either way about its successful events or celebrations it
host, they never worry about spending if
they really want to make a celebration a success , either way money is not an issue at all.
They ANC got to celebrate its 103
anniversary at the Green point stadium , cape town well I wonder why cape town
this time around I mean cape town could be our mother city but that’s the home
of the ANC biggest nemesis the Democratic Alliance, either way the African National Congress gets its way every time.
I love the way the celebration was carried out honestly I mean majority of the
people whether at the green point stadium or not they could still be part of
the celebration. People could use platforms such as twitter, Facebook, Instagram
to be part of the celebration.
This time around it wasn't just a celebration
but a challenge included, people could be part of the ANC challenge called the #Amandla challenge, to be part of the celebration and conversations taking place
all you needed to do is (#), hashtag if you want to post a photo , here’s the point of the challenge take
a picture with your fist clenched hashtag it #Amandla challenge and celebrate
the ANC 103 anniversary.
A lot people took part in the celebration
people who aren't just ordinary beings but people who are influential leaders,
opinion leaders and idols took part in the ANC celebration by simply posting their
pictures and being part of the conversation simply using hashtag. These people
where among business women Basestana Khumalo, Tv personality Minenhle Dlamini, singer Nhanhla Nciza
and many others not mentioned took part in the celebration. the #AamadlaChallenge is reminist of 2014s ice bucket challenge, sometimes called the ALS ice bucket challenge.
Social media become a great platform for
us express our joy, views, sorrows and many more, we connect easily with people
its easy to be part of your celebrities life by simply following them and
knowing what they talk about and how they express themselves and politics has
also advanced to social media, that makes it easy for them to stay in touch
with the people they serve.
Throughout the years it has become nothing
but trouble in the eyes of other citizens, I mean I find no problem in the
celebration , but through all their celebration maybe once or twice have they
celebrated in a such a productive manner doing something that will benefit
the people of south Africa. After all nothing can change way the ANC
cooperates.
